First taste of Africa
Walking off the airplane and feeling the heat after four very cold days in London was such a great feeling! From the airport we had a warm welcome from Benjamin and Paul. We all piled into the back of their truck with our huge three bags of luggage each! It was definitely a sight to see! We then arrived at our hostel "Bongwe Safaris" to find a huge bar and a much needed refreshing swimming pool. This was not what we were expecting but were reassured Mongu will be nothing like this so we better enjoy and soak it up! The hostel even has a batch of brand new kittens which made it feel even homier! We even get to take one with us on our journey to Mongu! That's it for now.... We are in love with Zambia.
